See "Super Nancy" Come For Your Arab Kids

Lebanese director Leila Kanaan has shared with the web a sneak peak of the new Nancy Ajram look for her all kids album. The title will be Super Nancy, and that will be a character played by Nancy thought out the album and its promotional material.

It's a sad day when Arab parents let other people teach their kids good lessons. Nancy Ajram is a good mother and a great positive role model for all kids out there, but that does not mean she should replace parenting. I do not think that's her plan, but this is what most Arab parents do when they let outsiders preach to their kids for money.

Aside dorm that, this will be a fun album for all the kids out there. We have already heard a teaser for the upcoming album.

Mahmoud El Mohandes Rings In Ramadan 2012 محمود المهندس - رمضان بيخبط

Ramadan is the time we pray, eat, sleep, pray, read the holy book, and then over eat. But in between, there are those awesome Ramadan songs talking about food and daily rituals and dishes. I like such songs, they help create an atmosphere of excitement especially for the young ones.

Ramadan is a magical time, and it is the perfect season to make memories. So, get excited the first song to ring in the holy month is in and it's by young and good looking new comer Mahmoud El Mohandes who just released his song for us all.

I like it, Ramadan is knocking at our doors and bringing all the good stuff with it, says the song. I am nostalgic now because Mahmoud's song paints the perfect Ramadan picture, with everything including the dessert.

Assala's "Awel Aid Milad" Song 4 Her Twins Birthday

Why do celebrities expect us to care about their kids? Do we really care that much or do we even have time to tune in? I mean some celebrities are shameless in trying to talk about their kids. Just look at the clips from the hospital room where Assalah is showing us where it all went down, the moment they were born and then them growing up.

This is really strange, do the kids have a say in this matter? Why do celebrities bring their kids to the spotlight? Has not not ruined so many lives before? Assalah does have kids from her previous marriage, and onlive TV she has exchanged kisses (on the mouth) with Tarik.

Aside from this, this should be a family song, not a song release for the masses--keep in mine Assalah has a jerk ex husband who speaks ill of her every chance he get. The song features her husband Tarik--a music producer and her two twins Adam and Ali. Then Assalah gives her mother a sincere shout out who has helpled her in each step along the way. She sends a prayer to her late father.

Again, this is a great song, I have to admit. my issue is with the images of the little kids. Do you notice the minimal makeup? It's kind of a star in a different light.

Pyramedia: Seham Omar - Ezzay Ya'ny / سهام عمر - إزاي يعني

Pyramedia produces music in Egypt, but it seems to be only working with new comers to the game. Freshman stars enjoy working with Pyramedia that takes a chance on them. But if those make it big, I do not think they sit around and stick with Pyramedia. This might be a good business model as the stars tend to be inexpensive when they are new, but once they hit the big times, they want more.

So that's why we get to hear and see singers like Sehma Omar who has a new music video out. This teen singer who seems to like to do what other teens do is dancing and singing for your entertainment. This clip is taken form all other teen shows, something that seems natural to Seham, cars, kittens, boxing, gym...etc.

The song has turned into a fashion show, I could count at least seven outfits. This song might be a great hit with the youth., I found parts of it to be Yawn-worthy.

Using Children in Arab Cinema To Say Adults Stuff

The little girl's name is Jana and she is all over Egypt's entertainment at he moment, she has stared in at least three movies to date. She has appeared in a music video with Sandy and on top of that she has a talk show on TV where she interviews celebrities.

The girl is innocent, but the adults in the music video are not. The lyrics are suggestive sexually, the lead female voice in the song Amar sounds like she is part of a porno using her sexy voice when in fact she is telling a story to kids. This is the sickest part of Egyptian pop culture where they put kids in those circumstances and use them as mouthpieces for perverted dialogue.

I think this movie will make tons of dollars as dumb movies seem to do well at the moment.

Nancy Ajram As A Kid, George Wassouf As A Kid

Nancy Ajram has to little girls now, but she was a kid once and a cute one too, see this old picture of hers where she still have that Nancy Ajram look loved by millions around the world. You can tell this girl knew she is a star from her days as a child.
George Wassouf was never about looks, and as a kid he did not seem to care about them either. The singer of a unique voice and a firebrand personality has a picture when we was a kid back in the black and white era. It always bring a cheer to my soul when I see such pictures, they put a celebrity in a different light. I wish  I can locate pictures for me as a little boy, I do not seem to find them.

البوم نانسى عجرم - يا بنات LISTEN: Nancy Ajram All Kids 2012 Album

The Arab world's biggest female pop star is rightfully so because she makes the right decisions both on personal and professional level. Now comes her second album geared for kids. In 2007 she has her first all kids album, it was a smash hit and many copied the concept behind it. Five years later, she is a little older and wiser, plus two little girls of her comes her second album.

On another note the production value for the album is pretty good, why not? Nancy Ajram is well funded and her albums sell big and for a good reason. There's a Happy Birthday song that has the potential to be a classic. What Nancy Ajram is doing is reaching to a younger generation to cement their love of her music and her voice which something she can capitalize on for years to come.

We have the sample of the album as the promo was released two days ago. This is a happy albm that will get your kids to dance and give you a giggle. This sounds like a decent album that even parents can enjoy listening to it with their kids. There's real money in such albums, but something tells me Nancy is doing it for her two little girls.

Darine Hadchiti - Tamenny Ya Doctor / دارين حدشيتي - طمني يا دكتور

The cutest girl of Lebanese pop has just connected with her inner child and made a music video for your kids and the kid inside you. She made a muppet filled music video that does have very random elements. Blending cartoons with real time images.

Darine looks as cute as she has ever looks. the song is a light romance with comedy. A visit to the doctor is not about medical necessity, but rather a result of a new love affair. The title of the song can be tricky as it translates to, tell me doctor. She goes to see the doctor because the moment she spotted the guy she has changed and that has shaken her system.

No more does she what to do with this new love story as she sits home awaiting for the guy to show up as he has asked for her home address to pay them a visit. This is a cute music video and should not be taken seriously, afterall the kids might enjoy it too.

Good Morning Palestine Song By Mais Shalash

Here's a song they do not make enough of in Palestine. A song about the land, and not its politicians and political parties. Not sure who is singing this song, but I feel it's some child. Wait a minute, her name is Mais Shalash. She is a Palestinian girl born in Kuwait and is well know for Nasheed--Muslim hymns.

She has reached the age where she is no longer a child, and some people thought she should hang her microphone, but the Muslim clerk Qaradawi said, she can still sing. Mais still does good music that keeps both Palestine and Islam in her heart. Seriously, old men are the root of this world's problems.

Mais has an easy on the ear voice that is sweet yet sad, which makes her perfect to do songs for Palestine. As most Palestinians adore their land but hate what it has been turned into.
